GUIDE FOR BUYERS

Company Verification & Compliance

What we ask for before an offer is issued, and why it protects you as much as us.

Why we verify first

Petroleum trading attracts fraud. Verifying every counterparty before an offer is issued protects genuine buyers, protects our supply partners and keeps transactions moving once a contract is signed.

What we usually ask for

  1. Certificate of incorporation and company registration details
  2. Details of directors and the authorised signatory
  3. A letter of intent or formal enquiry on company letterhead
  4. Evidence of trading or end-use activity
  5. Banking details and, at the appropriate stage, proof of funds

How your information is handled

Documents are used only to verify your company and prepare a contract. They are stored securely and are not shared beyond the parties needed to complete the transaction.

Screening

We check counterparties against applicable sanctions lists and do not trade with sanctioned parties or destinations.
