1. Product in tank
The refinery produces EN590 diesel and stores it in tank at the refinery or an export terminal. Product is allocated to the contract and held for the agreed loading window.
2. Vessel nomination
The vessel is nominated to the terminal (by the buyer under FOB, or by Sky Rebel under CIF) and accepted once it meets the terminal's requirements.
3. Inspection and loading
An independent inspector samples the shore tanks and the vessel's tanks, tests the product against the contract specification and measures the quantity loaded.
4. Documents issued
The bill of lading, certificates of quality, quantity and origin, and the cargo manifest are issued after loading.
5. Voyage
Under CIF, our operator tracks the voyage and sends arrival notices to the buyer and the discharge terminal.
6. Discharge
The cargo is discharged at the buyer's port. Documents are released as set out in the contract and quantities are reconciled.
